Mozart AI, in its own words

Mozart's homepage title is "Mozart AI - AI Song Generator & Music Maker", and its slogan is "The AI Music Generator Built for Artists" (mozartai.com, September 2026). The product has two rooms:

• Vibe Sessions, "Mozart's text to music AI mode where an AI agent acts as your co-producer." You describe a genre, mood and tempo, "our AI song generator creates the track", and you keep chatting to refine it.
• Studio, "our online DAW", with a piano roll and drum patterns.

Mozart's own how-to puts them in that order: start a Vibe Session, describe the song, generate and refine, then "Polish in Studio". The generator comes first; the studio is where you go afterwards to work on what it made. And its App Store listing reserves "advanced editing on the web app" for the Pro plan ($18 a month) and the Premium plan ($30 a month).

Veena runs the other way round. The DAW is the product, and CoProducer works inside it from the first sentence: every part it writes lands on the timeline as its own track, so there is nothing to polish that you couldn't already open.

The rule Mozart changed on 24 June 2026

Mozart's terms of service were revised on 23 June 2026. From 23:59 British Summer Time on 24 June 2026, "commercial use of Output requires a subscription to a Qualifying Paid Plan", meaning Creator, Pro or Premium. The homepage says the same thing more plainly: "Commercial use (distribution, monetization, sync, releasing your songs) requires a Creator subscription or higher."

Three details in the terms make it worse than it sounds:

1. No going back. "Upgrading to a Qualifying Paid Plan does not grant commercial-use rights in Output previously generated at a time when you were not subscribed." A song you made on the free plan in July stays personal-use only, whatever you pay later.
2. Remixes are never releasable. Remixed songs made after 24 June "may not be used for any commercial purpose", on any plan, and they are jointly owned with the user whose song you remixed.
3. Mozart's own pages disagree. Its App Store listing still says "All plans include full commercial rights." The terms and the website say otherwise. When a company's pages contradict each other about your rights, the terms are what count.

In Veena there is nothing to decode. Veena's terms say "you own the Output you generate through your use of the Service", on the free plan as much as on Veena Pro, and there is no watermark on your exports. Read the details on ownership and rights in Veena.

The numbers on Mozart's own pages

Prices. Creator is $10 a month or $84 a year, Pro $18 a month or $180 a year, Premium $30 a month or $300 a year (Mozart's pricing page and App Store in-app purchases, September 2026). Payments "are nonrefundable", its terms add, "and there are no credits for partially used periods."

The free allowance depends on which Mozart page you read. The pricing page gives new accounts "80 credits on sign-up (~10 songs)" plus "20 credits Daily top-up (~3 songs per day)". The App Store listing says "Every new account gets 180 free credits".

The rating is self-declared. Mozart's homepage tells search engines, in its structured data, that it holds a 5.0 rating from 1,000 reviews, and names no source. Its App Store listing shows 4.6 out of 5 from 582 ratings (23 September 2026).

Mozart can train on what you upload. By uploading anything, you grant Mozart a licence to use it "to develop, train or otherwise improve or modify our artificial intelligence and machine learnings model(s)", and that licence "includes a license to the likeness, voice rights, and other indicia of the persona that may be embodied in Your Content" (Mozart's terms of service, revised 23 June 2026). How a song comes together in Veena

1. Open Veena in Chrome, Edge or Firefox and sign in with Google. There is nothing to install, and no graphics card needed.
2. Paste the prompt. CoProducer sets 124 BPM and A minor, maps the intro, build, drops, break and outro with their bar lengths, and lists the parts it will write.

• Your voice and your takes. About 1 in 4 first requests in Veena's own data refer to the person's own audio: a recording, a demo, a loop or a voice memo. Drop it in and CoProducer measures its tempo and phrasing, then writes every new part to follow it. Hum a line and turn it into a synth, a saxophone or a piano with voice to instrument.
• Your plugins. The Veena Bridge helper app runs your own VST3 and AU plugins (AU and VST3 on a Mac, VST3 on Windows), and CoProducer can start from their real presets.
