Veena is an AI DAW with a personal music producer built in. Describe the song you want and CoProducer builds it with you — beats, chords, melody, arrangement and mix — as real tracks you can edit, mix and export. Free, in your browser. Veena is free to start, and Veena pricing has exactly one paid step: Veena Pro, $20 a month, which removes the daily CoProducer request cap and unlocks the premium models.
The free plan holds up to 5 projects at a time, and everything else is on it too: the whole studio, exports with no cap and no watermark, 4-stem separation, your own plug-ins and real-time collaboration. Prices below are in US dollars, as of September 2026.

The free plan is not a trial. It has no end date, asks for no card, and every song you make on it is yours: Veena's terms say "you own the Output you generate through your use of the Service."
How Veena credits and the daily allowance work
On the free plan, CoProducer runs on a daily allowance of requests. One request is one message you type to CoProducer. Picking one of its 3 options for a part, skipping, and continuing a build do not count, a build already under way always finishes, and a run that fails is refunded. The allowance resets every day at midnight UTC, and the ring around your avatar in the studio's left sidebar shows what is left: green, then yellow, then red.
On Veena Pro, CoProducer is metered in credits instead. Each monthly payment adds 20,000 credits. A run uses credits for the work it does, so a big build with a premium model draws more than a quick change on a basic one, and stem separation on Pro is charged by processing time. If a run fails, the credits come back. When the balance is empty, a new request does not run, nothing is charged, and Veena offers a top-up.
- Rollover: unused subscription credits carry into the next month for as long as you stay subscribed.
- Top-ups: Veena Pro members can add $5, $10, $20 or $50 in one click. $5 buys 5,000 credits, the same rate as the plan, and top-up credits never expire. Subscription credits are spent first.
- Monthly only: there is no annual Veena Pro plan, so there is nothing to lock into.

Suno puts its multitrack Studio, with MIDI, effects and automation, only in the $30-a-month Premier plan, and Suno Studio "is not compatible with VST or Audio Units plugins" (Suno's help centre, September 2026). Its download caps started on 3 September 2026: 20 downloads a month on Pro and 60 on Premier, with free users who joined before that date limited to 7 lifetime trial downloads. Only Studio exports on Premier are uncapped.
Udio charges $10 to $30 a month for music you cannot take with you: "downloading of audio, video, and stems has been disabled" (Udio's help centre, February 2026), and its terms limit Output to "personal and non-commercial purposes".
BandLab gives away a studio that stops at 16 tracks and 15-minute songs, then asks $14.99 a month for 32 tracks and for its AI tools: AutoMix, Audio-to-MIDI and Voice Cleaner are Pro and Max features on BandLab's own pricing page (September 2026). Its free Splitter allows 3 splits a day, and a web mixdown leaves as an M4A or a 16-bit, 44.1 kHz WAV.
In Veena, the studio, stem separation, audio-to-MIDI with CoProducer, mixing with CoProducer and your plug-ins are all on the free plan, and every export leaves with no cap and no watermark.
Paying, switching and cancelling
- Upgrade: click your avatar at the bottom of the left sidebar, choose Upgrade account, then Upgrade to Pro. Checkout is handled by Stripe, and the 20,000 credits land when payment completes.
- Manage it: on Pro, the same menu opens a Billing tab (plan, status, refresh date) and a Top Up tab.
- Cancel: on the Billing tab, click Manage Subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.

Which plan fits
Start free: the free plan is the whole of Veena, enough to make a song with AI, record over it, mix it and export it the same day. Move to Veena Pro when one day's allowance is not enough, when you want more than 5 projects on the go, or when you want the premium models on a big arrangement. Does Veena have an annual plan?
Veena Pro is monthly only as of September 2026: $20 a month, with no annual contract to sign. Cancel whenever you like and you keep Pro until the end of the month you have paid for, then return to the free plan with every project, export and song you own intact.
How do Veena credits work?
Veena Pro meters CoProducer in credits. 20,000 arrive with each monthly payment, CoProducer spends them as it works, and failed runs are refunded. Unused subscription credits roll over while you stay subscribed and are removed if you cancel. Top-up credits never expire. The free plan uses a daily request allowance instead of credits.
Does Veena watermark exports or limit downloads?
Veena puts no watermark on any export and sets no cap on exports, on either plan. Export the full mix as a 24-bit/48 kHz WAV or a 320 kbps MP3, every track as stems in a zip, or the MIDI, as often as you like. Veena's terms say you own the Output you generate.
Is Veena cheaper than Suno Studio?
Veena's full studio is free, and Veena Pro is $20 a month. Suno's multitrack Studio comes only with its Premier plan, $30 a month or $24 a month billed yearly (Suno's pricing page, September 2026), and Suno Studio does not load VST or AU plug-ins. Veena runs your own plug-ins on every plan through Veena Bridge.
What happens if I cancel Veena Pro?
Veena keeps your projects, exports and ownership exactly as they are. At the end of the billing period you return to the free plan and its daily CoProducer allowance. Unused subscription credits are removed when the subscription ends; top-up credits stay on your account. Cancel from the Billing tab with Manage Subscription.
