Who owns music made in Veena? You do. Veena's terms say "you own the Output you generate through your use of the Service", and Veena assigns you any rights it has in that Output, on the free plan and on Veena Pro. Your own recordings and uploads stay yours too, and nothing you export carries a watermark.
What Veena's terms say
Veena's terms (last updated 20 June 2026) separate two kinds of material:
- Output: what CoProducer and Veena's other AI features generate for you, such as audio, MIDI, stems and arrangements. The terms: "you own the Output you generate through your use of the Service, and Veena assigns to you all of its right, title, and interest (if any) in and to that Output."
- Your Content: everything you upload, import, record or create yourself, including audio, MIDI, stems, project files, prompts and lyrics. The terms: "You own Your Content."
Both hold on every plan. Paying for Veena Pro changes how much CoProducer you use each day, not who owns the result.

- Your uploads are yours to work on. Veena runs no copyright filter second-guessing your own recordings: drop in a demo, split it into 4 stems and build on it.
What the terms ask of you
The same terms note that AI-generated Output may not be unique, since similar material can be generated for someone else, and that Veena does not guarantee Output is protectable by copyright. They ask you to check anything you release and to use only material you have the rights to. Every part in Veena stays editable, so the notes you change, the parts you play and the vocals you record make the song unmistakably yours.

Do I need to credit Veena when I release a song?
No. Veena's terms do not ask you to credit Veena or CoProducer on songs you release. The Output you generate is yours, and so is everything you record or upload. Mention Veena if you want to; nothing in the terms requires it, on the free plan or on Veena Pro.
Can I use Veena's samples and presets in songs I release?
Yes, inside your own songs. Veena's terms license its sounds, samples, loops, presets and instruments for use within your own projects. What you cannot do is pull them out and redistribute or resell them as standalone files or sample packs, or use them to train a machine-learning model.
