What is Veena's built-in synth?

Veena is an AI DAW with a personal music producer built in. Describe the song you want and CoProducer builds it with you — beats, chords, melody, arrangement and mix — as real tracks you can edit, mix and export. Free, in your browser. Its own synth plays 39 presets, from 808s to pads, with macro knobs CoProducer can set.

Can I use my own VST plugins in Veena?

Yes. Since 13 September 2026, Veena Bridge hosts your own plugins for the studio in your browser: VST3 and Audio Unit on macOS, VST3 on Windows. Install Bridge once, click Launch in the studio, and your instruments and effects appear next to Veena's built-ins, where CoProducer can use them too, starting from their real presets.

Do my collaborators need the same plugins as me in Veena?

No. In a shared Veena session, the computer that has the plugin renders the part and shares the audio, so collaborators without it still hear the song exactly as you do. Their card marks the plugin as Locked and names whose machine runs it, and they can still edit everything else in that effects chain.

The Veena synth and plugins release, live on 13 September 2026, gives CoProducer, your personal music producer, a synth of its own and opens the studio to the plugins you already own. 39 presets now run on Veena's built-in synth, your VST and AU plugins work on the live site with one-click Launch, and Veena Bridge arrives on Windows. All of it is free, on every plan.

Your plugins, on the web. Veena Bridge, a small helper app, hosts the plugins installed on your computer: Audio Unit and VST3 on macOS, VST3 on Windows. Click Launch in the studio and your instruments and effects fill the plugin list, marked supported, "May be unstable" or "Not supported" so you know what to expect.

Your sound is the thing you've spent years building: the synth patches, the compressor you trust. With your plugins in the studio, CoProducer weighs them against Veena's built-ins, starts from their real presets, and knows around 20 products by name, including Serum, Kontakt, Omnisphere, the FabFilter Pro range and Valhalla. And when you aren't at your own computer, the built-in synth gives CoProducer 808s, basses and pads it can shape parameter by parameter.

Try it

Select a MIDI clip, open its Instrument tab, choose the Bass + 808s shelf and pick 808 Glide. Turn the macro knobs while it plays.
For your plugins, install Veena Bridge, then open a clip's FX tab and choose VST.
