What happens when two people ask CoProducer at once in Veena?

Veena runs one CoProducer request per project at a time, whichever chat it comes from, so two builds never overwrite each other. The second request waits in the Up next strip, with the sender's face, and starts by itself when the first finishes. Requests run in the order they were sent, and each sender can cancel their own.

Do changes from my private chat affect the shared song in Veena?

Yes. The conversation is private, but the song is shared: whatever CoProducer changes from My chat lands in the project for everyone, exactly like an edit you make by hand. Undo in Veena is per person, so Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on a Mac) steps back through your own changes and never a collaborator's.

Private and shared CoProducer chats, live on 17 September 2026, give everyone in a shared Veena project two conversations with CoProducer, your personal music producer: My chat, which only you see, and Shared chat, which the whole session sees. Requests from both run one at a time through a fair Up next queue, so a song with several people steering it never has two builds pulling it apart. Free on every plan.

What shipped: private and shared CoProducer chats

On any project shared with collaborators, the CoProducer panel now has two chats:

Whichever chat a request comes from, what CoProducer changes lands in the one shared song, visible to everyone as it happens.

The Up next queue

One run per project. CoProducer works on one request at a time for each project, so two builds never overwrite each other's arrangement.
Waiting is visible. Other requests wait in the Up next strip above the message box, each with the sender's face and words. A request from someone's private chat shows only as "Private request".
First come, first served. Requests run in the order they were sent. Leave, and your place goes to the next person rather than blocking the queue.
Cancel keeps your words. The undo arrow on your own row cancels your request, and your message stays in the box, ready to edit.
Picks carry names. When someone chooses between CoProducer's options in Shared chat, the result reads "Selected by" with their first name.

Why it matters

A session with two producers needs two things at once: somewhere to think out loud alone, and one clear line of decisions everyone can follow. Private chats give each collaborator the first; the shared chat and the queue give the song the second, so the arrangement only ever moves one request at a time.

Open a song, click Share in the transport bar and invite a collaborator.
In the CoProducer panel, switch between My chat and Shared chat.
