Founder and CEO, Veena

Palaash Agrawal is the founder and CEO of Veena, the AI DAW with a personal music producer built in. Before Veena, Palaash was an AI research engineer at A*STAR, with first-author papers on language models, computer vision and cognitively inspired AI. A musician since picking up the guitar at ten, Palaash founded Veena in May 2025 to rebuild music software around what a musician wants to make rather than the menus they have to learn.

Palaash writes here about where music production is going: AI producers that work inside the studio instead of handing you a locked render, what our own users ask CoProducer for, and what that says about how people want to make music.
