If you want a song from a prompt: the generators

A song generator is the fastest way to a song you can't open up. Each one's own pages list the price:

• Suno calls itself an "AI Music Generator". Its free plan carries "No commercial rights" and "No monthly song downloads", and of free-plan songs Suno says "we retain ownership of the songs you generate" (Suno's pricing page and help centre, September 2026). Its v6 launch on 9 September 2026 came with a promise to "retire our previous models", and "Retiring a model means you can't generate new songs with it."
• Udio switched downloads off on 29 October 2025 — "Starting today, downloads from the platform will be unavailable" — and its terms still say "you may not download any copies of your Output from the App for any purpose", at $10 or $30 a month (Udio's blog, terms and help centre, September 2026).
• ElevenLabs sells music on its voice platform, at "900 credits per minute" from the same pool as its voice tools, so "using one leaves fewer for the others". On the platform's free plan, its music terms list downloads as "Not permitted"; the $6 Starter plan can't release to Spotify or Apple Music, lossless WAV starts on the $22 Creator plan, and film, TV, radio and studio games are excluded on every self-serve plan (ElevenLabs' pricing page and Eleven Music terms, September 2026).
• Google Flow Music is a song generator you steer with sentences, not a studio you work in: its edits are prompts on the generated song — "type 'Shorten the intro to 4 bars'" — MIDI isn't among its plan features, and the songs you publish are open to other people's remixes and downloads until you "turn off Allow community remix" (Google's Flow Music help and pricing pages, September 2026). Paid plans run $8, $24 and $64 a month.
• Mureka says of free users' songs that "mureka owns all rights, title and interest in and to the Output", asks free users to credit Mureka even for non-commercial use, takes an "irrevocable" licence to exploit every user's output "throughout the universe", and keeps WAV, stems and MIDI for its $30-a-month Premier plan (Mureka's terms and plans page, September 2026).
• Stable Audio lists no free plan at all: $12 to $199 a month, with stem export still labelled "(experimental)" (stableaudio.com, September 2026).

• Soundverse is an "AI Music, Video & Voice Generator" first, and its free plan is for "Non Commercial usage" (soundverse.ai, September 2026).
• Moises Studio is a real-time collaboration room whose AI "generates parts that fit" a song you have already started, and its full pricing sits behind a login (moises.ai, September 2026).

• Muse is "a multi-track MIDI editor with a deeply integrated AI agent", "designed to compliment your existing DAW workflow", with commercial export on Pro at $15 a month (muse.art, September 2026).
• Delphos Copilot "plugs into your DAW and your files"; its free plan means "Bring-your-own LLM", and the integrated model is on Pro, $50 a month (delphos.ai, September 2026).
• LANDR Layers "is a standalone desktop application" with "25 minutes per month" of generation, included in LANDR Studio plans "starting at just USD $8.25/mo" (landr.com, September 2026).
• Mureka Co "Currently supports Ableton Live", and any reply or part it generates "may consume Gold" (mureka.ai, September 2026).
• Aiode, "Currently in beta", was bought by BandLab on 15 July 2026, with "Native audio recording and additional DAW functionality" still planned (BandLab Technologies, July 2026).

Every one of them assumes a second DAW, or a second subscription, to finish the song. • LALAL.AI calls itself an "AI Vocal Remover & Instrumental Isolator". It meters time as "total file length × number of stem separation types", its paid plans cost $90 or $180 a year, and "The VST plugin is available on the Pro plan only" (lalal.ai, September 2026).
• Moises splits songs into stems, with a free tier of "a limited number of uploads each month" and full pricing that appears only after you log in (moises.ai, September 2026).
• LANDR Mastering: "It costs $10 to master a single track with LANDR", and WAV mastering comes with its Standard and Pro subscriptions (landr.com, September 2026).

Each hands you a file and leaves.
